Tree of Life 2020 - Biology HL

Once again, the students in Biology HL have celebrated life. They have ‘built’ a “Tree of life” using all Nørre G’s pickled, stuffed, dried and pinned animals from the pre-Internet era.

In observance to Charles Darwin’s groundbreaking idea of our common descent, the animals are organized into higher taxonomic groups, and arranged in their evolutionary order to build the "Tree of life" for all animals. In the tree building process, the 3i Biology HL students have sorted the animals to family, order, class and phylum and discussed what structures the classification is based upon.
