3i Celebration

This year, due to the Corona situation, the IB May exams were globally cancelled, and we could not conduct our traditional big Hat Ceremony  – but, fortunately, we managed to celebrate our graduating IB DP students at Nørre Gymnasium nonetheless by arranging a smaller 3i festivity on 10 June. The restrictive numbers did unfortunately not permit parents to attend physically; so a few ‘took part’ in the event looking through the windows while waiting for the students to come outside.

Apart from the musical entertainment provided by the 2i Band Abtin and Friends, from their COVID-19 safety regulation 1m apart seating, the students could enjoy IB Coordinator Jutta Rüdiger’s dedicated graduation speech to them. The gist of the speech was“What we can learn from crises in life for our self-development”  - among others exemplified by the quote “Tough times never last – tough people do!”.

There was, of course, also the student speech, this year held by Aryan...

...and Kat had made and presented an entertaining video compilation put together by pictures and videos from many of the students’ memorable moments during their time at Nørre Gymnasium.

We thank this year’s graduates for the opportunity of contributing to their path in life and wish them all the best for their future outside the walls of Nørre Gymnasium.
