As a student at Nørre G you have access to various e-resources:
Altinget: A magazine about Danish politics. PW access from home.
Gale databases: 5 bases with joint password access. You can get the password in the Study Center or in Lectio. You don’t need the password for use when you are at the school.
- Biography Ressource Center: Biografies of well-known persons within many subject areas
- Global Issues: A type of "Faktalink" in english. Theme articles etc. about global topics.
- Literature Resource Center: Literary base about periods, authors, reviews.
- Science in context: Material about maths, biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, medicine
- Student Resources in Context: Topics within all subjects, especially useful in History and English
DR\gymnasium. Highligts and clips from programmes made for teaching. Access with UniLogin.
Ebsco: Among others UK/Eire Reference Center, Ebsco e-book collection og Greenfile: Offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,000,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 15,000 records, only access from the school.
Britannica Primary Sources and Britannica School: Thousands of primary source documents in history, science, law, politics, religion and more and a online learing tool.
Faktalink: Danish articles about news related subjects and other subjects related til STX.
Filmcentralen: Documentaries and short films. Access with UniLogin.
Forfatterweb: Site in Danish about mostly Danish authors, literary periods and themes.
Infomedia: Newspaper articles and periodicals in full text.
JSTOR: Large American database with books, articles and primary sources. Can be used in all subjects. Access only from the school.
JSTOR Aluka: Database with information about Afrika, among others South Africa and Apartheid. Access only from the school.
JSTOR Plants: About all the world’s plants. Access only from the school.
Dictionaries: French, German, English and Spanish. Access with UniLogin.
SPIE Digital Library: The world’s largest collection of research within the fields of optics and photonics: Especially useful for physics, but also good in astronomy and maths. Access only from the school.
