Youth Ambassador for UNESCO

We are very proud of Marie Raunow Nørgaard from 2a at Nørre Gymnasium who has just been chosen as youth ambassador for UNESCO in Denmark managing to get through the eye of the needle in competition with many applicants. As one of the 13 youth ambassadors in Denmark, her tasks will be to communicate, engage, and participate in projects about UNESCO and the UN’s 17 Sustainable DevelopmentGoalsas well as global citizenship and sustainable development.

As of the current academic year (2020-2021), Nørre Gymnasium og IB World School has become part of the worldwide network of UNESCO schools. Read more on our website.
