Concert for all first-year students

Music Students Showcased Their Talent and Impressed the Crowd

The talented music students from 2nd and 3rd year held an amazing concert on Tuesday, September 16th, for the new students at Nørre G. The students had prepared for the concert during the previous weekend as part of a school music retreat (inkursion) for all music students.

The concert was kicked off by the school’s very own show band with the song Runaway Baby by Bruno Mars, followed by a beautiful choir performance of Sig Mig by Citybois, featuring all the music students.

Nørre G’s various bands also performed songs such as Virtual Insanity by Jamiroquai, Svært at være fantastisk by Andreas Odbjerg, Emma Sehested Høeg and many more.

It is a new tradition at Nørre G for the music students to perform a concert for the new 1st-year and pre-IB students. The goal is to give the new students an insight into the musical opportunities available at the school—whether as a study programme, an elective subject, or by participating in bands and choirs after school.
