Information Evening 2018
Another successful Information Evening
Nørre G's annual Information Evening, when we present the pre-IB and the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP) for potential applicants and their parents, took place this Thursday evening and was once again a great success.
After Nørre G's fantastic showband set off the evening with a sample of their talents at playing and singing, Headmaster Jens Boe Nielsen gave an introductory welcome. IB Coordinator Jutta Rüdiger followed up with her warm welcome to all the visitors - before giving a general introduction to the international programmes at Nørre Gymnasium.
Pre-IB
Going on to more specific information about the pre-IB, present and former pre-IB students Katrine and Youssef assisted the Coordinator by offering the student view of starting and attending the pre-IB at Nørre G.
Student Guidance
At Nørre G we value having student counselling which is allocated specifically to the international programme students. Student Counsellor Anne Wilson presented the types of counselling we offer.
IB DP
Now the time had come for specific information about the IB Diploma Programme. Again, students assisted the Coordinator with their insight into their daily lives as IB students at Nørre G; this time Zoë and Marie B. as presenters.
Extra-curricular activities
As the final feature in the joint event in the Assembly Hall, many students lined up to present the numerous and diverse extra-curricular activities at Nørre Gymnasium.
Tour Guides and Subject Booths
Outside the Assembly Hall, designated student tour guides were waiting to take the visitors on a tour of the school or guide them to the specific subject booths, where teachers and students were ready to give more specific information about the IB Diploma subjects.
Thank you all for a great evening
We thank all our guests for taking an interest in the international programmes and spending an evening at Nørre G. We hope to see many of these visitors as students in the pre-IB or the IB DP at Nørre G when the academic year will start in August.
