Great Georg Mohr News!!!
On Tuesday 13th of January 1744 students nationwide sat sweating for 4 hours while doing very difficult math questions only using writing utensils such as pen, rubber, ruler and protractor (and a silent lunch box!)
These students took part in the famous - and perhaps infamous - math competition called Georg Mohr. From NørreG alone 30 students participated.
Here we must pay tribute to 2 students:
Kiarad Fadaeihaghi from 2i (to the left with diploma in his hand), who did all questions fully correct and therefore scored 20 marks out of 20. He shares that honor with only two other students - congratulations!
Jacob Fuglsang-Damgaard from 1w (to the far right with diploma in his hand), who got a wildcard because of a very impressive effort despite the fact that he is in his first year at NørreG.
But none of the two boys can 'rest on their laurels' because - together with other winners and wildcards - they will be attending a math 'training camp' to practice and compete even more. Here the competition is even harder and afterwards the best students will be selected from Math Olympiad and other international math competitions.
Once again - congratulations with your fantastic results - also a 'big thanks' to all the other NørreG-students who participated in the first and second rounds of the Georg Mohr Competition 2026 (the first round took place in November 2025!)
