Reception for the Forskerpraktik
Forskerpraktik have gradually become an annual tradition for students at Nørre G and Christianshavns Gymnasium. This program offers groups of students a kind of internship experience with various researchers. Over a total of four sessions, students are introduced to the latest research within their chosen field.
On Tuesday, November 12, students from both Nørre G and Christianshavns Gymnasium gathered with the researchers they had worked with to conclude the Forkserpraktik with a reception. Here, the students had the opportunity to showcase what they had worked on during their internships.
Before the students presented their results to each other and the researchers, Professor Dr. Ander Hay-Schmidt from the University of Copenhagen visited and gave a presentation: "Sexual Dimorphism in the Brain."
Following this, there was a poster session. Each group had created a scientific poster that presented their findings. The groups were stationed in different rooms, and they took turns presenting and listening. This provided an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of topics, as students and researchers circulated around the rooms, curious about each other's work.
The day ended with handouts of diplomas to the students who had participated in the Forskerpraktik.
