First Graduating Students
This year’s first two graduating students, Katrine Dørge Føhns and Patrick Lund Vielsted, have received their traditional graduation cap. The final exam for both was History, and they each received the grade 10 (=B) – congratulations with the hat and the good grade result. As is tradition at Nørre Gymnasium, the first graduating students raise the flag along with the school’s Headmaster, Jens Boe Nielsen, and today was no exception. Raising the flag has marked the happy event and the start of the last and most festive week of the school year.
The next three days will see the Headmaster receiving all the 300 graduating students in the Foyer. The tables are set up to make a place for the students’ families to wait for and celebrate their young people. This Nørre G tradition makes for a festive environment for all in the Foyer and at the same time keeps the hallways quiet for the examinations.
We all look forward to the Graduation celebration and student rides on Saturday 30 June. This is the culmination of the week, the school year, and the students’ three years at Nørre Gymnasium.
